Touring and conducting clinics with TC Corbitt, he immersed himself in the BMX scene, sharing his expertise and inspiring riders across the country. As the manager of the Power Light BMX team under the GT brand, Erick focused on building the right team culture and environment, emphasizing the importance of developing lifelong friendships and surrounding oneself with supportive people. His leadership style not only shaped the success of his teams but also left a lasting impact on the athletes he mentored, including bringing BMX riders like Jeremy McGrath into the world of motocross.

Erick ’s career extended beyond BMX, as he made significant contributions at Answer, recruiting top riders like Ernesto Fonseca, and played a pivotal role in connecting Ryan Dungey with Roger DeCoster at KTM, a move that would shape Dungey’s successful career. His long tenure at Yoshimura Racing is a testament to his commitment to doing things the right way and treating people well in the industry. Throughout his journey, Eric has always prioritized building a positive culture and fostering strong relationships, making him a respected figure in both BMX and motocross communities.
